It is particularly useful for older outboard motors that may not have built-in safety features to cut off the engine if the operator falls overboard. Technical specifications Material: ABS Color: Black + Red Package includes: 5 x Emergency Stop Switch, 5 x Safety Tether Measurement allowed error: +/- 1-3 cm Usage The switch operates by pulling the lanyard to activate the open and closed circuit, or by pressing the red button. If there is no spark in the outboard motor's ignition system, the existing switch may be faulty or stuck in the off position and should be replaced.
