General description The John Guest Speedfit Chrome Service Valve 10mm (10HSV) is a chrome-plated service valve designed for connecting plastic or copper pipes. It allows for the isolation of water flow to fixtures or appliances, making it ideal for emergency situations or maintenance work. The valve can be rotated in situ to prevent tampering and features a simple push-fit installation process. Technical specifications Size: 10mm Body material: DZR brass with chrome plating Installation method: Instant push-fit Isolation method: 1/4 turn screwdriver slot Compatible with: Speedfit PEX, polybutylene plastic pipe (inserts required), and copper pipe Suitable for: Hot and cold water and central heating systems Installation Push the valve fully onto the pipe for installation. To demount, push the collet towards the body of the fitting and pull the pipe release. Installation is safe and flame-free, requiring no hot works, glue, or flux. Usage Enables isolation of water flow for maintenance
