General description ForgeFix ForgeFast Wood Screws are designed for superior performance with a universally accepted Torx compatible drive. Their recessed ribs enhance countersinking and minimize surface dust, while reinforced countersunk necks improve holding power. The patented drill and drive thread reduces timber splitting, 'jacking', and spinning of joined timber, ensuring a firmer fix and increased pull-out strength. A sharp point allows for faster penetration, even capable of piercing 0.8mm steel. These screws feature an 'Elementech 400' coating that provides an anti-corrosive finish lasting up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings, making them suitable for interior use.
