General description ForgeFix ForgeFast Wood Screws are designed for superior performance with a universally accepted Torx compatible drive. Their recessed ribs enhance countersinking and minimize surface dust, while reinforced countersunk necks provide improved holding power. The patented drill and drive thread reduces timber splitting, 'jacking', and spinning, ensuring a firmer fix and increased pull-out strength. A sharp point allows for faster penetration, even capable of piercing 0.8mm steel. These screws are coated with 'Elementech 400', an anti-corrosive finish that lasts up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings and is environmentally friendly.
